We own (or are owned by?) three black cats. The two boys, Mac and Horatio, are litter brothers and were born in August 2007. Queenie, the female, is unrelated to the boys. We got her from an animal sanctuary in June 2007 and guesses at her age put her anywhere between two and five.

Queenie rules the roost with an iron fist inside an iron glove. The boys are terrified of her: fair enough as she despises them. And all other living creatures. She tolerates their presence and that of the dogs but everyone keeps out of her way!

Mac and Horatio (or is it Horatio and Mac?). They were so cute as kittens. Now they’re little monsters. But we love them anyway!
