Fergie in the snow!

Hmm, I don’t think Fergie’s particularly impressed with the change in weather…

Fussy pig, she won’t like it when the snow and ice turn back to rain and mud!

No, she doesn’t look too impressed. Did you know that the colour of your noses match perfectly!

    (No offence to Fergie!)

ps. All my hens had little snow bracelets round their legs when I brought them in last night. Very chic!

Still really cute! Do they feel the cold very badly? I’d imagine they would. How do you cope with it?

That’s some snout! Not yours, hers!

  5. re: noses and snouts. Hmph 😉

Suzy, they *do* feel the cold but being from New Zealand and therefore used to the snow etc, have lovely thick coats that do a much better job of protecting them from the elements (cold in winter, sun in summer) than the flimsy covering of hair on British pig breeds. There’s a deep bed of straw in each ark, which they snuggle into, but they only go in there at night.
