I’ve been doing silly shifts at work (t’is the season and all that), hence the lack of posts recently.

Autumn’s in the air

Now that we’ve actually had some sunshine, the past week or so has felt like a late summer. But this morning felt very autumnal and even though the day has now warmed up and I’ve discarded my fleece, it still feels like autumn. The trees have faded to a yellow-green instead of summer’s dark green and there’s even a handful of leaves on the ground, last night was definitely quite chilly and there was a crisp in the air when I walked the dogs early this morning.

I know it’s only beginning and we’ve got some time to go before we get the full spectrum of colours and beauty, but it has begun!
