Inaugural post

Hello and welcome to “Bring me Sunshine”, the latest inane ramblings to hit the blogosphere. It’s ok, I’m alowed to be cynical about the ‘sphere, I’ve been here before. I used to run a moderately sccessful blog until it folded for reasons I won’t go into here. That was over a year ago but now I’m back with what I plan to be a totally different blog reflecting the totally different lifestyle that I now call my own.

Back then, my blog was all about me. Now, BmS is going to be about my world. A subtle but significant difference. Why? Because I intend to remain semi-anonymous. People who know me in the real world will know who the Jo of BmS is, if not because of the usual over-use of metaphors and comma-splicing, then certainly because of the photos that will no doubt creep on here. As soon as I can find the cable for my phone, that is. (Oh, and it would be fantastic if you friends-of-the-Jo-in-the-real-world could help maintain my new discretion and refrain from using my last name. Cheers, guys. Mucho appreciated!)

So, what will this blog be about? After all, aren’t we all blogging about our worlds and how we perceive them? Well, at this stage, I don’t know the specifics but I can promise you a bit of everything, from the moans and groans of life to photos of my pigs and chickens (not forgetting the usual pics of cats and dogs).
